Comments:
Still much of a rookie with rtty but must be getting better. Last year I
operated 6 more hours and had roughly the same Q's but less zones &
countries so this year my score was much better. Last year only 466K with about
100 less Q's in 13 runs. This year only 5 runs. I think I am getting better
with tuning and setting the passband in heavy QRM. For cw I pretty much stay at
300 cycles and now I found myself adjusting a lot more. I think it helped
decoding at times.
I am only rtty capable with my K3 so no so2r but maybe next year I will have my
K4 and be set up for digital mode so2r. I foresee more screen real estate and
rx decoders running. All in all even though I was frustrated at times mid
contest I ended up thinking I improved. Had a good last few hours and finished
with a mult at 2359z. Always a nice way to end things.
