Comments:
Very limited time to operate this one between work meetings and family
obligations Saturday and parts of Sunday. Only operated 6m with vertical on
mobile, 2m halo at times on 2m and sometimes the same 2m halo on 70cm, when I
could, I used the 8el yagi on 2m and 10GHz dish. On Sunday late evenibg I
started finally hooking up the Q5 5band transverter to get going on 222 and
managed to work a few decent Qs netting 6/6. I operated only on analog and
binary modes, meaning SSB/FM and CW. I was quite disappointed to not hear many
stations calling CQ as in the past. I found it necessary to text opa and also ho
on ON4KST to send constant messages to get any kind of attention.
Hope this trend ends, I really miss the way contesting used to be, even just 3
to 4years ago.
