Comments:
Wow, what a busy weekend.
Most of my weekend was devoted to family time. Managed to get three hours
operating time in. Felt like I was preparing for Field Day because all of my
antennas were down, shifting and what not. Trying to put a beam in play and
made it with a few hours to spare on Saturday. I put a little over an hour on
Saturday and wow, worked 94 SSB.
I can say, this was an experience for my notes. Worked 20 and 15 with most of
the contacts on 20. 40 antenna was down for the count so missed out on
opportunities. This was my first stab at working a contest with sincere intent
but feel good about the experience. Mistakes made along the way but who hasn't.
Had a blast with the time I had available. Look forward to the next one.
