Comments:
Had a nice run for parts, but they diverted the interstate to a country road and
we had about 7 miles of backup, waiting for a streetlight in a tiny town 7 miles
ahead! Enjoyed a nice dinner with the XYL outside on a picnic table. Perfect
fall evening.
Started on 40. The SteppIR did not work as usual. 0315Z had 49 QSOs; 0330Z had
90 QSOs; rate dropped. At 0333Z had 100 QSOs; 0345Z had 127 QSOs. Went to 80 at
0341Z and the rate was much better!
Long day, not much accomplished on the station, but did get some caulking and
weather stripping done early in the day. Using the new computer and I did not
have to wait for N1MM to consume the call signs.
