Comments:
Was hoping a new full size home brew tribander (without traps) and improved low
band verticals would improve the scoring over last year but band condx did not
cooperate. Ended up almost all S&P chasing new countries and mults instead.
Just missed DXCC on 20. Finally have a tribander with real F/B and added punch
when needed. A big thanx to K0SN for helping make that happen.
The solar storm with A index way up on Sunday produced lots of flutter and
degraded polar paths. Yet the 40m long path openings to EU Sunday morning
provided some fun action. Nice to hear and work more African stns this year.
