Comments:
First time I've done a CQP from where I could walk to the Calif border. All the
6's on 20 sounded like weak, watery DX when the band is closed. 40 and 80 were
quiet and open. I worked all the 6's I could hear and finally just ran out. It
was a just-for-fun effort but admit getting caught up in finding counties. A few
I heard but did not work never did Run, just S&P - at least not that I knew
of.. Recently had an NVIS Vee on 160. Would have been perfect for this contest.
Perhaps an NVIS vee or DP on 20 would have helped.
