Comments:
Sat down at the radio about 2 minutes before it started. Had been out doing
forms for tower bases. Someday I'll actually have some real antennas up!
20M was in great shape and there was lots of activity. Was planning on doing
20M only, but things dried up with about 5 minutes to go, so went to 40M. Noisy
but lots of good signals. The first several stns I called CQ'ed in my face -
hmmmmm - full power, correct antenna -- what the heck? Finally got K0WA K5CM
and KG5U there. Still not sure what was going on.
Hope to be on tonight, but have a birthday party to go to. We'll see!
