Comments:
Guess it's better than nothing, but conditions were rotten for 5 watts to a
portable antenna. Stations would be very weak, if any, for most of the time,
and then one or more would pop up with S9+ signal level. Sometimes they were
swamped with others calling, others would be calling into thin air, so it was
easy to make a contact. Missed a big opening according to scuttlebutt at
beginning of the contest because we were having a local club meeting. Any way,
I was amazed that my puny signal could actually make a few contacts considering
the lack of sunspots generally. Lettuce Prey that next year we'll have more
spots and better overall propagation!
