Comments:
80 was in pretty good shape with both east and west coming through, but it took
a full minute of CQing to attract someone. Worked the band out after about 20
minutes. 40 had stronger signals and lots of activity. Used the inverted vee
since the SteppIR has had high SWR on 40. Went to 20 for the last 5 minutes and
picked up 5 mults. There were not many signals,and not strong, but nice
European multipliers. I should have gone here just a few minutes earlier.
It is damp, rainy, and foggy, so it will be a good day for the gym and to work
in the shack.
