Since my wife ran a half marathon in Rehoboth DE early Saturday am, I was only
on as second night fresh meat and one Sunday am S&P session. Great rates
running - most of the time it was like doing Morse Runner with QRM, LID and QRN
turned off, except that contest mode was NAQP not WPX - only had a handful of 5
pointers. Worked VE6, VE7, EWA but not a single CA station.
During the short Saturday am S&P session, worked two KH6 stations but none
of the continental 6-land station could hear me. Not sure what propagation
mechanism would cause that, but my SB drought is continuing from SSB SS...
