Comments:

Calm winds, steady AC power, no failures. Quite a different contest than CW.
Was planning on just fooling around, but got sucked into the big rates at the
beginning.

Just one radio here. Don't have SO2R working on SSB yet.

Close in mults never called in (with the exception of W7RN). Missed California
on 2 bands, Washington on 3! High bands were great out here, with each band
getting its chance to shine. 40 was also very hot before it died abruptly. 80
and 160 were a real challenge. I called a lot of people on 160 who didn't hear
me. I missed Ohio, Georgia, and bunches of other states that were loud here.
It got to the point when I simply called anybody who was loud, whether they
were calling CQ or not. The Q's either happened or they didn't.

Rarest states for me were Idaho and Montana.

Huge number of 6 character calls worked. Lots of new contesters out there.
