TS-590S, FT-1000D, dipoles @ 25-40 feet
Great activity and pretty good conditions, although I never could get much
going on 10 meters. No spectacular rates with the modest station, but the Qs
just kept coming nice and steady.
A few challenges...antennas detuned from a coating of ice and drooping tree
branches from last weekend's storm, and power went out Sunday afternoon for 5
hours. Lost some time getting the generator hooked up, then I discovered new
RFI problems via the generator power cable that hampered operation. Never tried
the generator + radio before...didn't see that coming.
