Comments:
My goal was to beat my best score which occurred in 2011. Technically
I did that, but I wanted to beat the number of QSOs which I did not
do, so I am disappointed. I have never seen such a desperate lack of
available contacts as occurred from about 2300 to 0100Z.
I worked 49 states before quitting for a snooze at 0700Z the first
night. The hold out, Nebraska came through early Sunday. The last
section for a sweep was Newfoundland, and I worked 2 of those Sunday
afternoon. Ultimately I worked several instances of every section so
nothing seemed rare.
I took a nap rather than a long slumber which allowed me to operate
all 24 hours. Also the child is getting old enough that I can ask her
to put herself to bed so I can operate the end of the contest with
relatively fewer interruptions. Unfortunately, I interrupted myself
by getting frustrated at missing my goal because I couldn't find
anyone to work.

Equipment: K3, P3, ETO 91B (thanks Jeff - I promise I'll fix the Alpha
and start using it before the next contest); X7 at 60 feet, 40 meter
vertical on the ground, 80 meter "cage" surrounding the 160 meter
vertical. Many radials. Beverages.
