My tower was down, so connected two beams that were sitting on top of the silo
for 20m and ran LP because feedlines were running between the elements of the
beams. Conditions were really good, so enjoyed the contest anyway!
I missed NV WY ND NE KS OK IA AR LA VT NH RI and only worked VE3. Heard but
didn't work BC LA NH. All three were CQing with no answer, but they couldn't
hear me after repeated calls, so HP does have its advantages!
My best contact was with K9BGL .. hadn't heard Karl on for many months and was
very pleased to hear him once again. The IL mult had been missing up until
then, too!
Hope to have everything back up and working by the SSB next weekend. Thanks for
the fun!
