Comments:

Last year we operated my last contest from my Bellingham, WA QTH and I said it
was bittersweet. This year was bittersweet because the propagation was crap
and I don't have 240V in the shack, so I operated SO for a change. I do miss
the fun of a Multi-Op, but with the station in a corner of the garage, I don't
have room.

By beloved MonstIR is still in pieces, and I am wrestling with the County for
permits, so all I had was a multi-band dipole and a 20 year old TH7DX up at 30
feet on my bucket truck. I did much better than I thought, and there were a
lot of stations who were quite weak who were able to pull me out of the mud.
Thanks!

This is the first time I've operated from this QTH on the Central Coast of CA
and I'm cautiously optimistic...it seems everyone thinks that everyone else has
better propagation, but this seems to be an improvement, and I'm glad to be a
thousand miles further south of the Auroral Zone.

Thanks to everyone for pulling my signal out and I hope next year to be soothed
by the loving hum of my Alpha Amplifiers.

Paul / W7IV
