Comments:

I appreciated being able to operate from Chuck W0DLE's QTH. This was my first to
do a contest from there. His station is still developing - and coming along
very nicely. The most important features have been accomplished: towers, most
of the transmitting antennas, beverages and amps are all performing very well.

There is a "Lazy H" antenna on one of the towers. It has auto-tuner, so works
on 10-15-20 with lobes out in many directions. I'd say it has gain in all the
right places. Got through pile ups with relative ease. Worked extremely well
for S&P on the second radio.

I used my own K3+P3 as radio #1. The second radio was one of Chuck's TS-590's
which I had never used. The 590 sounds fine but it is menu-driven - and it
seemed like everything I wanted to do required stopping find out what button to
push. Contest-induced sleep deficits only make matters worse.

Spent too much time on the wrong bands. But, that's because I was having too
much fun on 160-80-40.

Thank you Chuck -- a very good time!

73, Alan
