The best thing about ARRL DX from Southeast Asia is one can put in a full effort
and still go to the beach all day, out to dinner in the evening and get a full
night's sleep.
This year was an all-time personal record. In 24 years I've never broken 600
Q's or 200K before. That may sound totally pathetic to you, but this is an
extremely difficult contest from 9500 miles away.
Congratulations to the crews at K3LR, K1LZ and W3LPL for their tremendous
scores. K3LR and W3LPL were both fine copy on 80m, which is pretty amazing
considering the distance.
