Try as I might, I couldn't equal last year's effort. The prop just wouldn't
allow it. Same deal as the SS - conditions favored the folks out west. And this
is a very tough contest for Northeast stations.
10 meters was a afterthought and just effective to pick up some mults.
20 meters was most disappointing - short skip made mults hard to come by.
160 meters was horrible. Only 40 meters (and 80 meters later on) seemed to be
real alive.
A day of contesting with so-so conditions still better than a good day at work,
I always say!
