Comments:

I split the available op time between Rus DX and BARTG RTTY. Propagation from
New Mexico was pretty terrible on Fri evening RTTY and most of Saturday, when I
operated the Rus DX, of course. Wouldn't you know that Sunday would be
marginally better, once the Rus DX was in the can?

Everything over the N pole was either too weak to copy or just plain weak
enough to barely copy. Lots of flutter--the Northern Lights must have been
spectacular on Sat night! Only three Russian stations worked, a new low.

More southerly great circle routes from EU rarely made it throught the East
Coast Wall into my canyon QTH. All QSOs were S&P, and each one logged was a
gem.

"There's always next year!"

73, dan
