Comments:

My first weekend CWT after many mid-week ones and I was very disappointed in the
level of activity. Why doesn't anyone try 80 meters? It is good for about 3/4
the US and the Pacific here in Texas at 1300. Despite lots of CQ's on the
second radio my only QSO there was N4ZZ in TN - maybe all the guys in the
western USA are still asleep? Ten was just getting ready to open at the end of
the session - all four stations worked were USA stations on back scatter from
the southeast. By 1410 I was hearing Europe direct path with good signals but
too late.
