Comments:

The confluence of these three QSO parties -- INQP, NEQP, and 7QP can make this a
fun weekend, especially when guys turn out to support it and light up the
counties with few hams. Unfortunately that didn't happen much this year, so
except for major efforts by K7RE in WY and MT(worked in 7 counties) and K1KI
(worked in 11 counties in ME, VT, NH, and MA) it was left to home stations to
get on the air. That left a LOT of counties with no representation at all.
Indeed, I heard only one station in Idaho and one in NV. Conditions were pretty
decent, as indicated by the QSO breakdown by band.

INQP continues to be a major disappointment, with very little activity, fixed
or mobile. This is home territory for several major contest clubs, including
SMC. Where were you guys? If you're gonna have a contest, you oughta show up
and support it!

73, Jim K9YC
