Comments:
Normally I don't CQ very much in a phone contest unless it's a serious effort,
which I haven't done in a while, or unless 10 and 15 meters are open. Band
space on 20 meters and below is limited and I don't want to get in the way of
the serious competitors. When 15 opened on Saturday morning there was plenty of
elbow room and it was a lot of fun for the time I could spare.
The ham shack is undergoing a major renovation so the rig is a temporary
lash-up in a corner of the living room: K3 and an old L7 running about 800
watts. The rotators are all disconnected. You can guess the direction I left
them parked.
