Comments:
After reaching 350 QSOs Saturday evening, thought I had a good chance of
breaking 500 but did not even come close. Strange conditions Sunday - some very
strong signals on 15 meters, especially from Eastern Europe but not many of
them. Some of it was spot light propagation from a limited area but there did
not seem to be many of the little pistols on. No 15 meter signals from
Scandanavia, yet worked several UAs and LY and even heard UA9 and UN. My best
"run" band ended up being 40 meters - unusual for a low power guy from Texas.
Really tough pulling the weak signals out of the summer QRN though. Thanks for
the patience of some of those who it took me multiple trys to copy their call
sign and report.
My best score ever in WAE. With increasing sunspots next year should be even
more fun.
