Comments:

FT-990 + Cushcraft R8 (all S+P QSOs)
All CW sent by hand - no memory keyer hooked up - used radio keyer

I swapped going to a DX QTH in this contest in order to go to WRTC so I was a
little disgruntled knowing I would be just another IL station and have an
antenna handicap at that! Turned out good but took a lot of seat time to get to
this score. Several mults and Qs just couldn't get into my log. Seemed like I
had an issue with zero beating stations, duh! Even used the 250 hz filter to
make sure I was close...oh well had fun anyways.

Seemed like the "G" in my call was an issue sometimes. Doesn't help that the
dit gets lost and I get K9MY returned. At least I wasn't confused with K9AY !

10m was better on day 1 versus day 2. Seems like overall activity might be
down? Although Hawaii was pretty active.

My lower legs started bothering me after a while on Sat. Haven't had that
problem before but maybe a chair adjustment might fix it.

CW FOREVER - CQ CONTEST!
Eric K9GY
