Rig: Yaesu FT-817ND maxxed out at 5 watts, 500 Hz CW Filter, W1AW's bulletin
antennas.
It had been a long time since I'd tried QRP in SS; operating QRP from W1AW
seemed like a great idea and lots of fun. I wanted to put my 817 through the
mill to see what she's made of; I wasn't disappointed.
Mostly S & P; couldn't find a freq to run on until 20m Sunday afternoon. That
was a good run. manged to hold a freq on 80 for a while Sunday evening as well.
Missed NL for the sweep. Nothing like cracking VY1EI's pileup with 5 watts.
