Comments:

FT1000MP, 100W, zepp, dipole, inverted vee. Both bands seemed in good
conditions. No signals on 20 and didn't try 160. Bands were quiet and west
coast was readily workable on 40 and 80. 40 was too long for stations closer
than MA, MD, WI, KS, TX. Did work N1LN in NC backscatter, I guess. Welcome,
Bruce. Heard K0EJ and W4NZ in TN and N4OGW in MS and K9BGL in IL, but no QSOs
as others further out called them at the same time. Missed some easy mults on
both bands by being out of sync with them. CU next week. 73, John, K4BAI.
