Comments:
50mph winds this afternoon and evening in Seattle. Wondered if RI would even
have power.. 100,000 folks in the Puget Sound area w/ no power. 40m beam
twisted ..thats all... so good to go at K7RI tonite. Sat down in the seat, and
it was Boston 4-1. Got up and it was Boston 7-1. looks like more great baseball
to come this weekend. 20: only worked locals and KZ5D. K5NZ before the start
was Q5 but never heard after that on 20. 40 was a great stockpile of Qs and
Mults...and time ended there way too quickly. Went to 80.. found N6RO, and NO
ONE ESLE! so back to 40 and picked up N2NT in NJ and K7JA/M using his UP/DOWN
buttons on his mic in his car !! THANKS you guys !!
Ran into a busy intersection on 40...sounded like a 6 car crash and horns
blaring...hope i didnt step on anyone but wound up with a VVA QSO and got the
heck off that freq as fast as i could.. recall it was around 7039 or so. Anyway
see you'se guys again next time....thanks for all the fun! my favorite
contest!
