Comments:
This was the first year in many that I did not participate for the entire QSO
party. As the weather here in NC was cooler, and I am still building my
station, most of Saturday and Sunday I was outside putting up rotors, building
yagis, burying conduit and pulling hardline, coax and control cables.
Hopefully by next year the station will be completed and I can play for the
entire time.
Oh well, still had fun. The on / off times caused the mobile bonus score to be
quite low, with only seven 5 county mobiles worked. K5NA/M and NO5W/M were the
only two that I worked more than 10 times. Conditions on 40 were very poor
from here. Probably some due to my current antenna, but I did hear many with
the same opinion. Fortunately 20 mtrs was good both days.
Contrats to NARS for sponsoring another successful TQP.
Next year I will be aiming at the Single Op Out of State win!
