Well, looks like another contest season is right around the corner. I was
planning a part-time single-op effort. But to my surprise Greg K0OB and Al K0AD
said they would join in for a full time mutli-2. Bands were not the best. But
being from the Black hole we are kind of expect that. Not much on 10 meters
only worked W4OC and a local for a couple mults. 15 meters was fairly
productive. However, 15 meters shutdown early around 3:00 local time. So we
pounded 20 and 40 like everyone else. Nice to see decent mult totals on 20, 40,
and 80 meters.
But, we stuck it out and had a good time. I canâ??t say enough about Al and
Greg they know the station and we all work together so well. 40 and 80 were not
too noisy but, 160 was. It did get a little better toward the end of the test.
Always fun to hear old and new friends.
