Comments:

Thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Gary KH6GMP and his XYL Anne, this was
a wonderful opportunity for me to be able to operate from paradise. The warm
breeze wandering through the ham shack was very different from the cold winds
that I experience in Alberta. Gary transmits live video in the shack during
contests that may be viewed on his website. We received reports that we were
viewed as far away as Newfoundland. Propagation, although not great, was a big
improvement over my home QTH. Both 10 and 15 meters were active for a short
while, and accounted for 22% of our total QSOs. Europe and Greenland stations
were strong, and of course the JAs were just booming in. It was a pleasure for
both of us to make contact with so many mainland and VE friends. Sadly, by the
time the EU opened up again at about 05:00 UTC, both Gary and I were too tired
to continue. Sorry if we missed you. Thanks Gary, for a FUN time.
