First attempt at SO2R...I just dabbled in the contest to see how the two radios
would work as SO2R. I learned a lot. The FT1000MP worked great but the Icom
706MKIIG is not a good contest radio. It was fine for our DXpedition to V31TR
last March but, even with all of the filters, doesn't cut it in a crowded RTTY
contest.
