Comments:
Lots of breaks to do small jobs or have a pleasont qso. Nice to chat with Gary
AL7O(now W0) after several years. 40M seemed pretty dead until late Saturday and
few US stations called SSB split. Some DX was present. Nice to be called by 6W7.
10M had to have been open but no one believed it and only one qso from a lot of
calling. Heard several talking about going up but heard only VE3YAA.
The dipole was unhappy on 40 so the vertical was pressed into duty for half the
contest. It played well on 80CW.
