This was only my 3rd SSB sprint, and my qso totals have been going way up
each one?I went from 191, to 233, and now 289. Maybe next time I will
break 300 =) I missed several mults that I heard, like MD, NE and VE1. My
father and I spent 5 hours put our 80m antennas back up. We have only had
one sloper for a few years now, but we put up another one, plus an inverted
vee up. I finally got a Heil boom mike on Saturday and set up a foot switch,
and it worked a lot better than the old hand mike I was using I suddnenly
had TVI problems a few hours before the contest, so I only put out 300 watts
on 20 and 40. I wonder if anyone could comment on my 80 m signal compared
to other west coast stations?
