TR LOG REFLECTOR FAQ

The TRLOG reflector is intended to be a forum for users of the TR LOG contest logging software by N6TR. The reflector can also be used to ask technical support questions which will be answered by Larry "Tree" Tyree, N6TR.

To subscribe to the reflector, send a message to [email protected] with SUBSCRIBE as the body of the message. To unsubscribe, use UNSUBSCRIBE to the same address.

To post a message to the reflector, send your message to [email protected]. It is necessary for you to be subscribed to the reflector from the address you are posting from in order for your message to be posted.

There is also a digest form of this list. You will receive one message per day, mailed out nominally at 11:45PM eastern time. It will contain all the previous day's messages. To subscribe, send your message to [email protected] with SUBSCRIBE as the body of the message. You do not need to be subscribed to both reflectors, and people subscribed to the -digest list can still post to the TR LOG list address.

You can access the reflector archives on the web at http://lists.contesting.com/_trlog/. You can also request them via email by sending a message to [email protected] with the command INDEX as the body of the message. To retrieve a particular archive file, send a message to [email protected] with a command like GET trlog.9708 as the body of the message (this would retrieve the archive from August, 1997.)

There is a separate list for people who want to receive updates to the TR LOG software via email as MIME-encoded attachments. If you would like to be on this list, send a personal message to N6TR requesting it. This service is only available to current subscribers to the program.
