New tower up at SK3W 2001

On Sunday February 4th we finally managed to have the weather and people all gathered for the tower party. It took us 3 hours to have the the 60 meter high(200 ft.) tower installed with all guywires. Unfourtunately the wind started to build and we cancelled the antennas. But we managed, after some more work, to put the 3 element Yagi for 40 meters up on top. (The rest of the antennas will be put up later this spring.) Circa 2001.
