Experience in WRTC:

Teamed with K8CC in 1996 to finish in Top Ten out of over 50 world class teams in San Francisco. Extremely high marks in the log accuracy category.

DX Contesting:

Most of recent experiences have been from K4VX and from my new Multi-Multi Contest Station in Arkansas. When I had a station in the 70's & 80's most of the activity was single band efforts, some resulting in top finishes in the USA. In 1990 my single band 40M score in CQ WW CW Contest set a new USA record, except that it was surpassed the same year by K1ZM. Result was a 2nd place finish and a long standing record for 5 Area - over 1400 contacts, 40M CW.

Sweepstakes, etc.

During a ten year span from sometime in late seventies to late eighties, I placed in the top ten in CW Sweepstakes more times than any other operator during the same ten year period. In all cases but one, (guest operated from W5XZ) I operated my own modest station. My single effort at phone sweepstakes was using N5DX callsign from my station in late 80's, placing 2nd.

G4ZFE Pileup Results:

Although have not placed high in KC Suite in Dayton in that competition, I have placed rather high on a world wide basis using the G4ZFE pileup program.
