K1AR Summary

Three-time participant in WRTC competition (two-time medal winner):

#1 w/K1DG 1990 Seattle
#13 w/K1DG 1996 San Francisco
#3 w/K1DG 2000 Bled

Consistent DX Contest winner in all major categoies beginning in the years of W3AU, W1ZM, W2PV, K1GQ and now K1EA. Collectively have achieved over 35 wins in past 25+ years of operating. At one point, held 5 out of 6 of the CQ WW major USA scoring records.

Other accomplishments/activities:

* CQ Contest Hall of Fame Member
* CQ magazine contest editor (13 years)

Like any serious competitor, I want to win this one bad and feel I have the WRTC experience to do it (hopefully along with a little good luck). After operating 3 times with K1DG, we are a solid competitive team that knows how to maximize the WRTC game.
