Contesting Online Survey

Survey Question Current Survey Question

Do you plan to enter the CQ WW DX Contest?

Recent Surveys

Recently the RDXC committee reclassified P3F to high power from low power without publicly providing strong evidence that any infraction had occurred. They concluded was that the contestant was running HP on 80/40m but not full-time, just 10 minutes here and there without any convincing evidence. It appears they used the RBN as their source of information. Should the RXDC contest have to publicly provide convincing evidence before reclassifying a station from LP to HP?

Randy, K5ZD, wrote a sidebar titled " Convergence and Change" in the 2015 CQWW CW printed results in CQ magazine. He wrote that the "convergence of personal computers, Internet access, DX clusters, and CW Skimmer have changed the nature of CW contesting". He goes to say that it is "more difficult to police the line between the single operator working alone and those who are using the assistance of DX spotting." In light of this convergence and change is it time to recombine SO and SOA into a single category?

LU8YE
Poor condx in LU8YE San Martin de los Andes - Neuquen province but 40 m was FULL of CW stations.

We find 100 KHz of S9 and S9 plus signals from 7.0 to 7.1 MHz.

Great...!!!

40 and 15 m did the good job.

10 M Excellent
We operated Multi Single from suburbia, had TVI on the low bands which restricted us to one antenna a 3 element tribander at 12Metres, we made 455 QSO's on ten Metres into USA,JA and Europe. This was a very big surprise and not expected from so far south at the bottom of the cycle.

10m NIL - Low bands good
I can't even call it average conditions when 10m didn't open
at all. Lots of action on 20m and 40m, though.

Worked a few on 80m as well. Did not have time to try 160m.

Propagation Conditions at your QTH during the 2007 CQWW CW
I meant good for this point in the sunspot cycle. Conditions on 80 and 160 were quite good. The K index was 1 or 0 for about half the contest and no higher than 2.
