I am member of ARRL - dont get QST. And then?
I ARRL dont like to publish result for every, they should call it Members Contest - and i forget this contest.
If a contest wants that worldwide all Ham's take part - then every should see the results.
I accept if result only shown in ARRL web. And that is the true: ARRL and many other national Clubs don#t like to publish results in magazine - it costs to much pages. It's only question of money - not of service for free or not.

There is not much sense for Europeans to be ARRL member, there are for sure just a few Ws and VEs member of DARC.
If I participate in a contest I would like to see the results or will move to other contests without that limit

When they stopped posting contest line scores in QST, I stopped being a member of the ARRL. The little guy has much lower incentive to get on for a few hours now and it will start hurting the participation.
When they resume, so shall I.
You can't argue with their results, so who needs to see them. Compare your claimed score against their published score and THAT is your error rate! Ta Da!

The ARRL has done so many politically stupid things harming Hams that it is hard to see why one would be a member of an organization inflicting random acts of idiocy on all Hams. This is a tangential example... if you are in a sponsored contest you should be able see the results. While I have periodically been a member it's just not that important to stay a member.

I do not agree that giving away your services for free encourages people to pay you for that service...
The league only exists through its members. These contests are sponsored for members with non members welcome to participate as a courtesy and for fellowship and because the airwaves are public. IF you want in league services in that contest beyond the courtesy level then join and help support the league...
Lets say you play a charity golf tournament for cancer research sponsored by the local country club. Do you think you will get free teaching sessions with the club pro after the tournament is over? Or that you can use the practice putting green the following week? For free?

If your allowed in the contest you should be allowed to view results.

I'm an ARRL member, and I disagree with the policy. Anyone who is welcome to submit logs should be able to view the LCR's.

For W/VEs, I agree. Is it available to DX for free? If not, it should be.
The way I see it, it's a perk of membership - one of the few. Personally, I'd rather receiveit' NCJ than QST, the way QST has been dumbed down over the years, for my membership dollars, but that's not an option.

I'm a Life Member and I disagree with this policy. Though I understand why the League does it, in the long run, IMO, they are hurting themselves when they thwart non-members from seeing all the results, in its various forms. The contests (the ARRL DX especially) require non-members' participation to make them viable and then denying them some of the results is kind of rude.
Yes, there will be freeloaders, but IMO, the more open the ARRL is, the more they invite membership.
