I'm trying to get a better understanding of mast torque figures, such as those provided by Force 12, in determining what my options are to replace a TH7 sitting atop a HyGain HD54 crankup (rated 16 SF windload).
The mast torque for the C-4XL is <900 in./lb., vs. the C-3 at <280 in./lb.--but I have no point of reference for what these figures actually mean.
If I had some benchmark, such as what the mast torque is for the TH7, I would have a point of reference. Alas, HyGain has no such figures available.
Any recommendations, ideas or insights are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
