Stabilizing horizontal elements on a beam Reply

I have a TA-33. The driven element is quite stabile. However, the reflector and director tend to rotate on the boom if any torque at all is applied, such as a big bird landing on the end. Has anybody worked out a proven way to keep the tubular elements from rotating on the tubular boom? The u-bolt and spacer assembly just don't have the friction required, even when tightened to the point of almost deforming the element.

Thanks!
