Tri-X motorized 75" tower Reply
by KX7B on April 11, 2001 Mail this to a friend!
I recently aquired a motorized 75' Tri-X tower about 15 years old. It's a very heavy duty model ( I can't find a model number in it) Does anyone know if I can get a new base for this tower and/or the manual. Is Tri-X still in business?

Tri-Ex is still in business. First Call Communications acts as a distributor. They may be the sole distributor - not sure about that.

First Call's web site is http://www.firstcallcom.net
or call 845-352-0286 ask for Joel

Hope this helps.

Tom:

I saw your post about getting a new base for a 75 foot motorized Tri Ex tower for a Tri Ex tower. Did you ever get one? I've got a WT51 TriEx and am thinking about getting an extra base in case we ever move, but all the things I've heard/read about TriEx lately make me wonder.

Tri-Ex Tower Corp was sold to Will-Burt out of Orville, OH.
I might be able to locate part info for a local fabricator to build to old standards.
I worked there from 1968 to 1996.

I own a HZ471N 4-section, 71' TRI-EX. It's 21.5' collapsed and 1050 lbs. (WTS) Is this the same as yours ?
If so, I have the base which could be measured and a drawing produced. The blueprints may already have what you need.

Stephen, I have a Tri-ex W51 tower. Do you know of anywhere I can get a manual for it?
Or does anyone know?
Thanks
Bob
