The rules contain something called "Glasses" that I haven't figured out. Anyone know what this means?

Art,

I assume you are talking about the rules at http://www.qrz.ru/contest/detail/93, and you pressed the "Translate to English" button at the top of the page.

The "glasses" means "QSO points". This is an example of why machine translation isn't likely to replace human translators any time soon. According to my pocket Russian-English dictionary the Russian words for "points" in a sporting contest, "pips" on playing cards, and "glasses" as in my bifocals are all spelled the same way.

The rules at http://www.sk3bg.se/contest/russrtty.htm are more comprehensible.

73,

"GLASSES" is a result of using bad automatic interpreter.
It must be "POINTS" (for QSOs).
