YAESU- G 10000 ROTOR

Some place I read that the Yaesu G 1000 rotor had some problems...don't recall what they were. However, the web page where I read this gave a fix for the problem,
but I don't recall what the "FIX" was.
I think the difficulty was that the 1000 would not rotate at certain positions. I'm in the porcess of updating my system, and I SURE do not want a rotor that will not perform as required.
Any one got any comments about the 1000..ease of use, rotating problems, fixes and so forth.

I'd try two things:
1. Type "G1000" (or 1000SDX or something similar) into the "List Search" box at the left of the contesting.com pages.
2. Look at the Review section of the sister site: http://www.eham.net
