Need RTTY pinout for cabling between the Yaesu FT1000D and the Kam. The Yaesu manual is wrong. Any help would be much appreciated as I near going nuts. Help!!

Hello Mel
Here is what I have.
KAM <------------->FT1000D (RTTY jack)
1 ASFK
2 GND/shield<-------->4 GND
3 PTT<----------->3 PTT
4 CW
5 FSK<---------->1 RTTY
6 RCV audio <---------->I used the recv audio from the ext speaker
Set the command of the KAM to "FSkinv to ON".
The default is OFF. This is unique to the FT1000.
If this is not set correctly, your TX will be inverted.
I sure you did this, but read and verify the FT1000 dip switch settings for FSK. Page 16 of operating manual.
