During those long single op events, what games do you play to keep up your interest? I find that short term targets are very useful and Last 10 rates etc help. But are there any other clever ideas out there?

I'd always assumed that the natural contester was the kind of person who maintained his attention by simply concentrating on keeping the rate up. That's the kind of person I am; why would I assume that anyone else would need a game on the side to keep his interest up when my own interest is in optimizing my score.

In a contest why do you need to have games the best thing to do is just have fun! if your a multi-op station and getting board get up and take a walk and take a break from the radio. even if your not a multi-station get up and take a break.
