Best radio for RTTY contesting

What is the best radio to use for RTTY contesting? Do I need to worry about ability to handle continuous power output? Filters? Ease of interfacing to TNC or sound card? Looking for real world practical experiences and recommendations.

The term "BEST" makes the question difficult if not unanswerable. If your budget is "limited", I contested RTTY for 2 years with a Kenwood TS520S. It was the "BEST" radio for me at the time because I didn't want to invest a bucket of bucks. Eventually
my "BEST" requirement included 100% duty cycle rated
finals with a lingering "low bux" factor. The Kenwood
TS450S/AT that I have now has been a nice XCVR for RTTY and RTTY contesting. If I was asked what would be the "BEST" selection (for me) -- regardless of $$, it MIGHT be a Kenwood TS950SDX or it MIGHT be a Yaesu FT1000D, or it MIGHT be a Ten Tec OMNI VI+. Before anybody can give you guidance on what the "BEST" radio is, you have to decide what what you want from the rig
and what available budget parameters might be. It MIGHT be an easier thing to answer if you asked what is the "WORST" rig you ever used for RTTY contesting? WHY do you feel that way? Sorry about the "non" answer, but the straight answer to the question is
"impossible to answer -- not enough data"
