hello my again, i have some test before reading letter for the other problem and when i trasnmit in 40 meters,
slowly go up the power and run 100 watt, but when i stop trasnmiting go down.
and 20 meters is similar, but the other higher band no have any solutions.
MY PROBLEM IS,TO THE NEXT ARRL TEN METER I HAVE THE TRANSEIVER SOLVER O NO. THAT THE QUESTIONS...

Hi John,
My five year old "MP" exhibits exactly the same symptoms as yours. It's been trouble free until about a week ago! When I get a chance, I plan on taking the covers off and checking all connections and circuit board switches affecting RF output.

The problem is your FET's. They probably are shot ! It costs about $45 per FET and about one hour labor to repair at Yaesu.
