hello my name is john and my problem is,
the las weekend, when i check my wattimeter, little power out with my aplifier, and i see the ft 1000mp
go out 25 watt, on 10, 15 and 20 meters,
but 50 watt on 40 and 100watt in 80 and 160 meters
check my menu and the position 4-0 and 4-3 is ok and show 100 watts. (no take any internal part)
any solution for the next arrl 10 meters?????

Hi John,
Can you try the radio into a dummy load, or direct into an antenna (bypassing the amp completely)? Maybe the amp has an "input" problem into which the radio doesn't like to transmit. (What's the SWR that the radio sees looking into the amp?)

Is there a front panel adjustment for power or something similar that would affect power output (like mic gain, or processor output, etc.)? Can you try it on CW and is it better?
