When you say you can "create" the Cabrillo file, I'll assume you mean you can find the file/icon/etc. in Windows using, say, Windows Explorer. You say you cannot "open" it. What are you trying to open it with? Are you simply double-clicking on it or are you using a text editor (which one?) to try to view it?

the file is plain ASCII so you can open it with Wordpad, any word processor or DOS edit.com

Remember. If you open your Cabrillo file with any program other than notepad,you must remember to save it as a text (txt) file (ascii text if more than one text choice)
